ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Brenda P. Walker, 66, a loving wife, mother and grandmother went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at Woodhaven Baptist Church, with Dr. Tom Patterson and Ernie Nivens officiating. Entombment will be at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road.
A native of Rock Hill, S.C., Mrs. Walker was the daughter of the late Roy A. Parrish and the late Marion Moon Parrish. She was a 1959 graduate of Rock Hill High School and a member of Woodhaven Baptist Church, where she was an associate Sunday school teacher and a choir member. She loved music and mission work at the church. When she retired, she was a teller at Rock Hill National Bank. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and will be remembered for her compassion and love for others.
Mrs. Walker is survived by her husband, Max N. Walker; her son, Randy A. Walker and wife, Michelle of N. Litchfield, S.C.; her sister, Nancy P. Love of Rock Hill; and two grandchildren, Blake and Logan Walker, both of N. Litchfield. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret (Millie) P. Grant.

The family will receive friends 5 to 6:30 p.m. today, Nov. 1, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill.
