CLOVER -- Mrs. Audrey Daniels Evans, the daughter of the late Lucas Daniels Sr. and Mrs. Alice Mae McClure Daniels was born Feb. 8, 1960 in Brooklyn, N.Y. She departed this life on Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia, N.C.
Funeral services will be held today, Nov. 3, 2007, 2 p.m. with a quiet hour from 1:30 until 2 p.m. at Tabernacle of Praise in York, S.C., with Bishop Alfred Jackson officiating and the Rev. Rodney Tate, the Rev. Joe Floyd and the Rev. Michael Glenn assisting. Burial will be at Weeping Mary Baptist Church in Bowling Green, S.C.
She joined Weeping Mary Baptist Church, Bowling Green, S.C., at an early age. She later joined Mars Tabernacle of Clover, S.C., and became an ordained minister. She went on to serve other congregations and was currently worshipping at Tabernacle of Praise in York, SC. Her faith carried her through her extended illness and she often quoted her favorite scripture (John 3:16), which gave her much comfort and hope: "For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
She was a graduate of Clover High School in Clover, S.C., and worked as a child care provider and health care worker.

Mrs. Evans was united in Holy Matrimony with her husband, Anthony Maurice Evans and to this union a son, Anthony Maurice II, was born.
In addition to her late father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Paul and Cornelia McClure; her paternal grandparents, Peter and Charlotte Daniels; and her brother, Peter Daniels.
In addition to her loving husband and son, she also leaves to mourn her devoted mother, Mrs. Alice Mae McClure Daniels; her three brothers, Lucas Daniels Jr. (Magdalene) of Groton, Conn., and Michael Daniels and Christopher Daniels, both of Clover, S.C.; two sisters, Michelle Daniels of Clover, S.C., and Gwendolyn Brown (Ronald) of Matthews, N.C.; her mother-in-law, Alice Evans; her grandmother-in-law, Aszilee Fuller; her sister-in-law, Alicia Johnson; her brother-in-law, Timothy Evans (Alexis): her nephew, Maurice Johnson; her nieces, Adrienne Rashell Daniels of Charlotte, N.C., Jennifer Yvonne Powell of Hampton, Va., and Alicia Evans and Brianna White both of Rock Hill, S.C.; and a host of aunts, cousins and many friends.
