YORK -- Mr. Fred M. "Freddie" Taylor Jr., 67, of 122 Ashe St., passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at Piedmont Medical Center.
Graveside service for Mr. Taylor will be 2 p.m. Monday at Rose Hill Cemetery in York, with Gerald Bennett officiating.
A native of York, Mr. Taylor was the son of the late Frederick M. Taylor Sr. and the late Edna Workman Taylor. He was of the Protestant faith and a former member of the Rock Hill Moose Lodge. He was formerly employed with Fruit of the Loom, Barber-Coleman Environmental Control Services in Charlotte and Jack Walters, Inc.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Geraldine "Dean" Dover Taylor; his son, Fred Taylor III and his wife, Annette of Clover; his daughters, Kathy Taylor Bedwell and her husband, Leonard of Clover and Lisa Hedspedt of York; his sisters, Betty Taylor Hancock of Fort Mill and Frankie Taylor Solis of Bunnlevel, N.C.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers for Mr. Taylor will be Dale Taylor, Michael Taylor, Barry McDonald, Coby Thomas, Kevin Bivins, and Rick Moose.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 tonight at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, and other times at the home of his son, Fred Taylor III, 1230 Colonial Road, Clover.
