FORT MILL -- Mrs. Ruby Davidson Jennings went to be with her Lord and Savior, and her husband, the late Boyce S. Jennings at CMC Mercy in Charlotte, N.C. She was surrounded by her family who loved her.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Whitesell Funeral Home, 975 Riverview Road, Rock Hill, with the Rev. David E. Jennings officiating.
Mrs. Jennings was born in Lynett, Ala., on Jan. 26, 1926, to Teague Echoles and Addie Hood Davidson. Mrs. Jennings finished school in Lanett and went on to work in Columbus, Ga., where she met her husband, the late Boyce Samuel Jennings, who was serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. The couple moved to Fort Mill (his home town) in 1948.
Mrs. Jennings was a lovely special lady who helped her husband raise their four children and helped him in their café business until she became ill.

Mrs. Jennings is survived by her son, Rev. David Eric Jennings (Lisa); her three daughters, Linda Jennings Fite (Johnny), Rebekah Jennings Yarborough and Joy Jennings Patterson (Bob), all of Fort Mill; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Erica (Shane) and their children , Mariah Ann and London, Samuel Adam David Jennings, Terri (Larry) and their son, Tim, Alec (Emily) and their children, Ellie Andres and John Alec, Tod (Amy) and their sons, Dylan and Samuel, Darin (Tabbi) and their girls, Dana, Ashley and Megan Gracie, Eric (Rebecca) and their son, Shea Eric; also surviving Mrs. Jennings is her brother, Albert Davidson (Faye) and her sister, Onie Daniels.
