Louis Branch Jr.

CHESTER -- Mr. Louis "Lou" Alexander Branch Jr., 44, of 2095 Lancaster Highway died Nov. 9, 2007, at Chester Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Linda Jenkins and the Rev. Allen Derrick officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.

He was born in York County, S.C., on March 9, 1963. Mr. Branch was a son of Louis A. and Diane Sanders Branch. He was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and a graduate of Lewisville High School and the S.C. Criminal Justice Academy. He was a captain with the Richburg Volunteer Fire Department and a U.S. Marine veteran and employed with Maillis Strapping Systems.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Tracy G. Branch; one daughter, Misty R. Branch of Mars Hill, N.C., and her fiancé, Bryan Sams; one brother, Barry Branch and his wife, Terry of Chester, S.C.; his father-in-law, Mickey and wife, Carrie Green; and a sister-in-law, Sandy Ammons and her husband, Bruce; one niece, Jessi Ammons of Chester, S.C.; two nephews, Kaleb Branch and Matt Ammons of Chester, S.C. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Kay Branch.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the church fellowship hall.
