AUBURN, Ind. -- Lula Mae Titler, 80, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at Parkview North Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind., from pancreatic cancer, which was diagnosed this week.
She was born Feb. 2, 1927 in Union, S.C., to the late Kimzy and Mattie (Henderson) Messer.
She worked at Marshals Clothing in Butler, Ind., Crane Edmond in Butler and Magnavox in Auburn, before retiring in 1990. She attended both Butler Church of the Nazarene and Auburn Nazarene Church.
She married Lynn Titler on Oct. 28, 1967 in Butler; he survives.

She also is survived by two daughters, Teressa Goodman of Fort Branch, Ind. and Patricia Gordon of Butler; two grandchildren, Mary Ann Vazquez and Walter Paul Smith, both of Butler; and two great-grandchildren, Annabel Vazquez and Aydan Vazquez. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Titler asked that no calling or services be held for her, and her family is honoring her request. Memorials may be directed to Shriner's Hospital.
