LOCKHART -- Mr. Bolden Gregory, 70, of 317 Askew Circle, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, S.C.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester, S.C. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Wilksburg Baptist Church, with the Rev. Charles Terry and the Rev. Elton Hunter officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of Union County, S.C., Mr. Gregory was a son of the late Elisha and Myrtle Manus Gregory. He was retired from Milliken Lockhart Plant and was a member of Wilksburg Baptist Church. He attended schools of Lockhart and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a former Little League baseball coach and former Boy Scout leader.
Surviving are his wife Frances G. Gregory; one daughter, Debbie Campbell and her husband Buzzy of Rock Hill; three sons, Johnny and his wife, Barbara of Chester; Derrick Gregory and his wife, Sissy of Lockhart and Alan Gregory and his wife, Suzanne of Chester; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Wilksburg Baptist Church Relay For Life Fund, 3121 Pinckney Road, Chester, SC.
