Clifford Dean Gordanier

MCCONNELLS -- Mr. Clifford Dean Gordanier, 56, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007, at his home.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, at Living by Faith Baptist Church, 2201 Chester Hwy. 321 S, York, S.C. Visitation will follow immediately after the service at the home.

A native of Albuquerque, N.M., Mr. Gordanier was a son of the late Claude and Annie Gordanier. He was a graduate of Rio Grande High in 1969 and attended the University of New Mexico. He was a body shop manager at Friendly Cadillac for several years and moved to southern Oregon in 1984, where he was an auto glass installer for Farrell's glass in Medford, Oregon and Cook's Glass in Klamath Falls. He also was owner/operator of Cliff's Glass in Medford. Mr. Gordanier moved to McConnells in 2005, where he became a founding member and trustee of Living by Faith Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding his horse, singing, playing the guitar, and a good campfire. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones and friends.

Mr. Gordanier is survived by his wife of 24 years, Nancy Gordanier of the home; his son, John Gordanier of the home; his brothers, CW Gordanier of Pinellas Park, Fla., Roger Gordanier of McConnells; his sister, Ginger Gaulden of Rock Hill; and nine nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Don Gordanier.
