LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Mrs. Helen S. Bickett, 85, passed away Dec. 10, 2007, in Lawrenceville, Ga., at the home of her daughter, where she had lived for the last year.
She married Elliott Bickett in 1941 and resided in North Carolina until 2003. She was a loving mother and wife. She was an excellent seamstress, cook, gardener and a loyal Braves fan. She also gave to so many as she volunteered for the School for the Blind, Cub Scouts and her church, First Baptist Church of Charlotte. She was a secretary for the Terrill Machine Co. for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son and two brothers. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Ron Lublink; two grandchildren, Jeff Miller and Donna Biddiscombe; and six great-grandchildren.
A visitation service will be held at Eternal Hills Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday, Dec. 15 at 11 a.m. in the Eternal Hills Chapel, with Dr. Richard Long officiating. Internment, with graveside service will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens.
