NEWBERRY -- Miss Louise Senn, 90, of 1609 Boundary St., Newberry, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
Miss Senn was born Aug. 16, 1917, in Newberry County, a daughter of the late J. Edward and Carrie Smith Senn. She graduated from Newberry College in 1939 and retired after teaching for 41 years in Newberry, Lexington, Richland County schools and Newberry Academy.
She was a lifelong member of Bush River Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Women's Missionary Union. She was also a member of the Town and Country Garden Club.
Survivors include her sister, Mrs. Ruth S. Bradley; nieces, Margaret S. Palmer, Carolyn S. Skews, Luellen S. Guyer all of Rock Hill, Ruth S. Harrison of Simpsonville; nephews, C. W. Senn of York, Rev. Dan Bradley of Rock Hill and W. Edward Senn of Washington, D.C.
She was predeceased by two brothers, William E. Senn and Clarence W. Senn.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday at Bush River Baptist Church. Interment will be at Bush River Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., today at Whitaker Funeral Home, 1704 College Street, Newberry, SC.
