Louie Watson Queen

SHARON -- Louie Watson Queen, 69, of 3000 Shannon St., died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, at Central Baptist Church. Pastor Carey Caldwell of Central Baptist Church will be officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.

A loving husband and father, Louie was a son of the late Aileen Queen McCarley and was a mason and a shriner.

He is survived by his wife, Olivia Youngblood Queen of Sharon, S.C.; son, Anthony Queen of Rock Hill, S.C.; four daughters, Pam Bartel of Charlotte, N.C., Cindy Fry of Fort Mill, S.C., Tina Wicker of Rock Hill, S.C., and Joy Queen of York, S.C.; two brothers, George McCarley of Maryland and John Mac McCarley of Fort Mill; sister, Levenia Bumgardner of Michigan; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by son, Tim Queen.

Visitation will be held at Bratton Funeral Home today, Dec. 18, 2007, from 6 to 8 p.m.
