FORT MILL -- Mr. Glynn Kermitt Thomas, 80, of 1887 Vista Road, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, at Presbyterian Hospice in Charlotte, N.C.
A native of Lake City, S.C., Glynn was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a retired maintenance supervisor with Winn-Dixie and the widower of Shelby Mixon Thomas.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, at Grandview Memorial Park-Hollis Lakes Road, with military honors provided by The Honor Guard of Frank Roach Post 34 of the American Legion.
Surviving are his son, Lowel Thomas and wife, Kim of Rock Hill and two sisters, Georgia Langston of Florence, S.C., and Merlee Hamlin of Tallahassee, Fla. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Thomas and sister, Margaret Crane.
