FORT MILL -- Mr. John Lloyd Roberts, 88, of 500 Nims St., died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at Carolina's Medical Center.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Unity Cemetery with the Rev. Ron Fite officiating.
Mr. Roberts was the son of the late Toy and Betty Carlton Roberts. He was retired from Springs Industries after 40 years of service and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a charter member of the American Legion Posts 43, 40, and 8, of which he was a past Commander. He was also a member of the VFW Post 2889 of Rock Hill.
He is survived by two sons, Gerald Roberts of Fort Mill and Doug Roberts of Van Wyck: six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
