GEORGETOWN -- Carroll Wayne Boulware, 67, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, at Tidelands Community Hospice House.
He was born Feb. 21, 1941, in Rock Hill, a son of the late Chalmers Lewis (Mutt) Boulware and the late Wilma Florine Fields Boulware.
Mr. Boulware was a writer who enjoyed writing short stories. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of Vietnam and the Bay of Pigs. He was a life member of the VFW and was also a member of American Legion Post No. 34 in Rock Hill.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Evangeline (Vangie) Raymes Boulware; one brother, Wallace Boulware of Rock Hill; and an extended family he thought of as his own, brothers, Clint Raymes and Dart Raymes, both of Rock Hill and Kenny Raymes of Evansville, Ind.; sisters, Linda Nelson of Palo Alto, Calif., Dee Walker of Rock Hill and Sue Lane of Melbourne, Fla.; a number of nieces and nephews; many friends from around the world; and his pets, Penelope, Pogo, Macheri and Sasha.
