CATAWBA -- Mr. Jack David Williams, 82, of 1024 Rainbow Circle, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, at his home.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, with the Rev. Larry Twitty officiating. Burial will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery.
A native of Rock Hill, S.C., Mr. Williams was a son of the late Walter C. Williams and the late Sally Rodgers Williams. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church, a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and retired from the N.C. Air National Guard with a combined total of 42 years of military service. He was the widower of Gretta Gosswein Williams.
Mr. Williams is survived by six brothers, Ira L. Williams and wife, Helen, Paul Williams, Lewis J. Williams and wife, Roberta, Tommy Williams and wife, Annette, Pete Williams and wife, Doris and Toy Williams, all of Rock Hill; one sister, Mildred Rabb and husband, Roy of Marion, N.C.; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, 355 E. White St., Rock Hill.
