Clarence Brice Sr.

ROCK HILL -- Mr. Clarence R. "Big C" Brice Sr., 56, of 323 Finley Square, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at Piedmont Medical Center.

The funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday, at Foundation A.M.E. Zion Church, with the Rev. Malcolm L. Taylor Jr. officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

A native of York County, he was the son of the late Willie James Dixon and Alberta Page. He was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and was employed by Winn Dixie Warehouse in Charlotte, N.C., for 19 years.

He is survived by his wife, Deloise Brice of Rock Hill; one son, Clarence Brice Jr. of Rock Hill; two daughters, Sonya Brice and Amy Ball, both of Rock Hill; three grandchildren, Joshua, Micah and Caliph; caregiver, Ruth Massey Barber of Rock Hill; five sisters, Karen Perry of Charlotte, Cassandra Littlejohn and Linda Gaston, both of Rock Hill, Gloria Frye and Jackie Bell, both of Michigan; three brothers, Clay Dixon of California, Randy Dixon of Michigan and Michael Miller of Rock Hill; and his mother-in-law, Ernestine Long of Rock Hill.

Mr. Brice may be viewed from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday at Robinson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the church, and other times at the home.
