ROCK HILL -- Mr. James Levi Williams, 93, died Monday, March 17, 2008, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2008, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, with the Rev. Tom Sherer officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road.
A native of Fenwick, W.Va., Mr. Williams was a son of the late Arthur J. Williams and the late Elizabeth Lilly Williams. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, a self employed builder, and owner/operator of M & J Grocery in Rock Hill. He also was a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of 62 years, May O. Williams; his sons, Vernon Williams and wife, Joy and David Williams and wife, Beth, all of Rock Hill; his sister, Mary Edna Pollack of Ohio; three granddaughters, Crystal Williams, Cynthia Vinson and Jana Williams; and one great-granddaughter, Noelle Vinson.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill.
