YORK -- Robert Bolivar Scott, 79, of 121 North Congress St., died Saturday, March 22, 2008, at his home in York.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at First Presbyterian Church in York. The Rev. David Coffey, the Rev. Don Thacker and the Rev. Dave Hall will be officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
A native of York, S.C., Mr. Scott was a son of the late James Rodney Scott and Elizabeth Devinney Scott. He attended Filbert Presbyterian Church and was a member of the men's Sunday School class. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Moore Scott of York; daughter, Frances Scott of York; three sons, Pastor Robert Bolivar Scott Jr. and wife, Lynda, of Edmonton, Canada, Allen Moore Scott and wife, Joanni, of Maple Valley, Wash., and William Moore Scott of York; sister, Sarah Scott Alexander of York; six grandchildren, Helene Neely, Philip Hamer Jr., Robert L. Hamer, Lisa L. Scott, Paul Scott, Scott Melton; and four great-grandchildren, Sarah Lewis, Will Neely, Lauren Melton and Geoffrey Melton.

Visitation will be held at the First Presbyterian Church parlor on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, from 2 to 3 p.m.
