ROCK HILL -- Larry Gene "Slim" Hafner, 58, of 945 Nivens Park Road, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2008, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, S.C. Mr. Hafner is the son of the late Walter Herbert Hafner and the late Dixie Braswell Hafner.
Mr. Hafner is survived by his two daughters, Amy Flores of Charlotte, N.C., and Cindy Gholson and her husband, David of Belmont, N.C.; his son, Trinity Hafner and wife, Jennifer of Norwich, N.Y.; his grandsons, Bon Flores of Charlotte and James and Brandon Gholson of Belmont, N.C.; three paternal aunts, Sadie Robinson and Betty Sutton of Fort Mill and Lillian Hafner of Rock Hill; his sister, Terry Campbell of Easley, S.C.; and his nephew, Todd Campbell and wife, Debbie and their three children, Madison, Griffen and Cruz of Williamston, S.C.; along with the many friends that he loved and considered to be a part of his family.
Celebration of Mr. Hafner's life was held March 29, 2008, at Lake Wylie Nivens Landing in Fort Mill.
