CHESTER -- Mrs. Terry Lee Vannoy Johnson, 61, of 1298 Oak Hill Road died Friday, April 4, 2008, at her residence.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. today at Uriel Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Fred Powell and Pastor Davin L. Johnson officiating.
Born in Spencer, W.Va., Mrs. Johnson was a daughter of the late Noble F. and Madge Moore Vannoy. She was a homemaker, formerly a secretary for Chester School District and a teller at First Citizens Bank and also worked at Bay Savings & Loan, Newport News, Va. She was a member of Uriel Presbyterian Church, attended Glenville State College and was a member of the Chester Eastern Star. She was the wife of Mr. Alfred "Doug" Johnson.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Douglas Lynn Johnson of Conway, S.C., and Rev. Davin Lee Johnson of Gastonia, N.C.; two daughters, Freda Lynn Johnson and Rachel Lee Johnson, both of Chester, S.C.; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Cindy Martin and Kathy McCracken, both of Aynor, S.C.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. today at Uriel Presbyterian Church.
