FORT MILL -- Mr. George (Cowboy) Andrew Wilson, of 800 J.W. Wilson Road, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 7, 2008, at Hospice & Community Care in Rock Hill.
A Celebration of Life service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Westerly Hills Baptist Church, with the Rev. Roger Brown officiating. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery.
A native of Fort Mill, Mr. Wilson was a son of the late John and Sarah Wilson Sr. He was an Army veteran and a member of the American Legion. He was also an avid outdoorsman who loved to farm and garden. He was a former Trustee at Westerly Hills Baptist Church. He loved his family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Lynn Huggins Wilson; two daughters, Flora W. Edwards of Monroe, N.C., and Whitney B. Bradsher of Seattle, Wash.; one sister, Minnie Mae Wilson and her husband, Robert Daniel, of Indian Land; two brothers, Leroy Wilson and his wife, Alice, of Fort Mill and Olin Wilson and his wife, Carolyn, of Fort Mill; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, Lewis A. and Erica Edwards and their three children, Scottie, Joshua and Brooklyn, April D. Edwards and Jennifer L. Edwards and her son, Thomas L Windchester III. He was preceded in death by two brothers, J. W. Wilson Jr. and Jessie Furman Wilson and two sisters, Josephine and Annabelle Wilson.

The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. today at Westerly Hills Baptist Church and other times at the home.
Memorial maybe given to Wayne Patrick Hospice House, P.O. Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731. The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice and Community Care and Hospice House for their love, care and compassion for their loved one during his time of illness.
