ROCK HILL -- Rev. Ellen Fewell, 54, of 730 Cedar St., completed her service in this life on June 1, 2008, at Piedmont Medical Center.
Her parents are Sam Roseboro and Addie Hutchison White and also her daddy, James T. White, who preceded her in eternal life.
Mrs. Fewell began her journey Aug. 27, 1953, in Rock Hill. She dedicated her life to the service of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in 1983. She never looked back, nor did she ever question the will of the Most High. She became an ordained minister by the will of God and a licensed minister under Rev. Jesse E. Boulware. She served as associate pastor to Rev. Boulware at Cross Road Baptist Church. Mrs. Fewell attended Emmett Scott High School and received her diploma from the Rock Hill Adult Education program.
Mrs. Fewell lives not only in her "Father's House that has many mansions" but also on earth through her dedicated husband of 36 years, Johnny Ray Fewell; sons, Will H. Hutchison, Johnny Ray Fewell II and Jonathan Ray Fewell; daughter, Tiffany Leann Fewell; brother, Joel Hutchison, Stanley Wilson, Pete White, James White, Andrew White, Vernon White and Melvin White (Eternal); sisters, Sara Ann Hutchison McClure (Eternal), Debra Roseboro Brown and Mary "Cork" Hutchison; seven special sisters in Christ, Apostle Regina Cherry, Minister Minnie Dunhyam, Rev. Lavenia Pride, Sister Joanne Jackson, Minister Betty Hicks, Sister Brenda Adams Beard and Sister Carolyn Page; nine grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nephews and nieces.

Rev. Fewell's Eternal Life celebration will be held at Cross Road Baptist Church, 2574 Eden Terrace, Rock Hill, at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2008, with the Rev. Walter B. White officiating, the Rev. Jesse E. Boulware delivering the eulogy and Minister Minnie Dunham and Evangelist Rosetta Chisolm assisting.
