FORT MILL -- Mrs. Ruby Lee Butler Osborne, 85, of Fort Mill, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at the Wayne Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2008, at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Fort Mill. The funeral will follow at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Michael Ritter officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2008, at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Whiteville, N.C., with the Rev. Ricky Osborne and Michael Osborne officiating.
Born Jan. 6, 1923, Mrs. Osborne was a daughter of the late William Lacy and Lettie Lee Butler. She worked in the supermarket industry most of her life. Mrs. Osborne's greatest passion was raising her children and caring for her family. One of her greatest joys was for her family to come home so she could cook everyone's favorite dish. She was the widow of Deamer Cullen Osborne (2000) who she was married to for 60 years.

Surviving are her children, Cullen Osborne and wife, Doris, of Fayetteville, N.C., and Norita Kay and husband, Tom, of Fort Mill; grandchildren, Kelly Osborne Modlin and husband, Kevin, of Fayetteville, N.C., Brandi Osborne Locklear and husband, Mark, of Fayetteville, N.C., and William Charles Watts Jr. and wife, Connie, of Columbia, S.C.; and great-grandchildren, Katie Min Modlin, William Charles Watts III, Annacate Gayle Watts and Thomas Cole Watts.
