GREAT FALLS -- Mr. Leonard B. "Pokey" Wilson, 78, died Saturday, June 7, 2008, in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2008, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home in Great Falls, with Father Bill Wight officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Wilson was born Jan. 6, 1930, in Great Falls and was a son of the late Lee and Daisy Humphrey Wilson. He attended the schools of Great Falls and was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean war, where he earned a Korean service medal with two bronze service stars and a United Nation medal with 10/5 star. Formerly employed with J.P. Stevens Company in Great Falls, Mr. Wilson was retired from Bemac Trucking Company in Illinois.
He was the widower of Daisy Goings Wilson, who died on Jan. 5 of this year.

Surviving are his three daughters, Teresa Geib of Hoffman Estates, Ill., Carol Boeck of Streamwood, Ill., and Debbie Watson of Bollingbrook, Ill.; three granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; and one sister, Kathleen Leonhardt of Great Falls, S.C.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Saturday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls.
