SHARON -- Mrs. Eloise "Mur" McCaw Jamison, 87, of 3512 Hoodtown Road, Sharon, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 1, 1920, in Sharon, a daughter of the late William and Essie Jamison McCoy. She was the widow of Willie B. Jamison.
Mrs. Jamison joined the St. Luke #2 Baptist Church at an early age and served faithfully. She was a member of the Prince Riley Chapter #303, OES and a member of the A P & B Society.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Jamison; a grandson, Andre Tyrone Jamison; and a sister, Bernice Feemster.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Sunday, June 15, at Wilson Chapel AMEZ Church, with the Rev. Heyward Boyd officiating and the Rev. George H. Lowry delivering the eulogy. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Surviving are three sons, Wayne (Frances) Jamison of Rock Hill, Willie (Doretha) Jamison of Union, S.C., and Phillip (Vera) Jamison of Walkertown, N.C.; a daughter, Janice Wade of Sharon; a brother, James (Rev. Christine) McCoy of Rock Hill; five grandsons, Darron (Carrie) Jamison of York, Dion, Antwan and Don Wade, of all of Sharon and Willie Jamison Jr. of Augusta, Ga.; two granddaughters, Mache (Anthony) McTeer of Winston Salem, N.C., and Mia Jamison of Walkertown, N.C.; four great-grandchildren, Taira, Bryce, Alexia and De Aisha; a niece, Sherrie Cole of Charlotte, N.C.; a nephew, Aaron (Alfreda) McCoy of Fort Mill, S.C.; great-nephew, Cameron; and great-nieces, Shekia, Malaysia and Narsha; and a host of other friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., Saturday, June 14, at the funeral home; and at other times at the home, 3512 Hoodtown Road, Sharon.
