RICHBURG -- Mrs. Jean Isaacs McCrorey, 79, of 3391 Edgeland Road, died Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at her home.
A graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Union Cemetery in Richburg, with Dr. James C. Barker and the Rev. Clint Davis officiating.
Born in Chester County, on Aug. 29, 1928, Mrs. McCrorey was a daughter of the late Edward Gibson Isaacs and Nell McEachern Isaacs. She was the widow of Lewis Leon McCrorey Jr.
She was a graduate of Chester High School and Draughn Business School. She was a retired secretary from Lewisville High School and a member of Union ARP Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Sheryl McCrorey Smith of Rock Hill and Susan McCrorey Oates of Chester; five grandchildren, Jason Alt, Jennifer Alt Kelly, Lindsey Smith, Ashley Oates and Chris Oates; one great-granddaughter, Carmen Oates; and one brother, O.F. "Frank" Isaacs of Lavonia, Ga.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, David Lee Isaacs and Edward Gibson Isaacs Jr.
The family will receive friends at the home, 3391 Edgeland Road, between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m. today, June 19.
