ROCK HILL -- Mr. Alfred Kenneth Harris, 60, died Friday, June 20, 2008, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, N.C.

The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2008, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - Catawba Ward, with Bishop Todd Osborn officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.

A native of Rock Hill, S.C., Mr. Harris was a son of the late Alfred Neal Harris and the late Peggy Elizabeth Thatcher Harris. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - Catawba Ward, where he was a tireless servant to the Lord, Jesus Christ. He was the human resource manager at AFL Telecommunications in Monroe, N.C.

Mr. Harris is survived by his wife, Bonnie K. Harris of the home; his sons, Adam Harris and wife, Holly and Jeffrey Harris, all of Fort Mill; his daughters, Elizabeth Harris of Fort Mill and Emily Harris of Rock Hill; his brothers, Kelly Harris of Greenville, S.C., and Darryl Harris of Rock Hill; his sisters, Kay Medlock of Brevard, N.C., Vicky Reynders of Rock Hill and Alice Esplin of Salt Lake City, Utah; and one grandson, Kent Harris.

The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2008, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 520 Gervais St., Suite 300, Columbia, SC 29201.
