ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Clyde Reynolds Roland passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2008, at her home.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, with the Rev. Charlie Lucas officiating. Burial will be private.
A native of Siloam, Ga., Mrs. Roland was a daughter of the late William Reynolds and the late Willie Cook Reynolds. She was a retired teacher at Inman School in Atlanta, Ga. She was a member of DAR, the Garden Club and Ikebana International. She was also a member of First Baptist Church, where she took care of placing the flowers. Clyde loved her Lord, her family and her flowers. She was also very active in her community and in her neighborhood. She was the widow of Robert Lee Roland.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Roland of Charlotte, N.C. and John Reynolds Roland of Waxhaw, N.C.; her daughter, LuAnne Roland Amorosi of Atlanta, Ga.; her sister, Barbara Ann Copelan of Albany, Ga.; four grandchildren, Julia Ann Roland, Lee Roland, John Walker Roland and Kyle Roland; and her grand-pup, "Jack" Amorosi.

The family will receive friends at 6 p.m. today, June 23, 2008, at her home.
