ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Barbara Snapp Whiteside, 76, of 1112 Sturgis Street, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2008, at her home.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2008, at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Revs. Jerry Catledge and Carl Williams officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road.
A native of Pacolet, S.C., Mrs. Whiteside was the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Minnie Jones Snapp. She was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church and retired from Celanese Corporation as a machine operator.
Mrs. Whiteside is survived by her husband, James F. Whiteside; her sons, Jimmy Whiteside and wife, Vicky, of Michigan, Dale Klepper and wife, Melanee, of Rock Hill, Cecil Klepper and wife, Debbie, of Clover, and Nathan Klepper of Rock Hill; her daughters, Wanda Laney and husband, Larry, of York and Debbie Gillespie of Atlanta Beach, Fla.; her brothers, Kenneth Snapp of Pacolet and Jessie Snapp of Panama City, Fla.; her sisters, Roszella Millwood of Spartanburg and Corenia Easler of Pacolet Mills, S.C.; 17 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 3 until 4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2008, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC and other times at the home.
