GREAT FALLS -- Mrs. Evelyn Turner Black, 86, of 72 Holly St., Great Falls, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at Chester Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 3 at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Greg Batchelor officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Black was born in Greer, S.C., a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Ada Irene (Ellison) Turner. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School, retired from Cinderella Knitting Mills and a member of First Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Marvin N. Black; one son, Keith Black of Great Falls; one daughter, Freida B. Ross of Cayce, S.C.; one granddaughter; and three great-grandsons.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls.
