GREAT FALLS -- Myrtle Louise Gibson Tarlton, 85, of 200 Chester Ave., died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster, S.C.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 4 at Trinity Baptist Church, with the Rev. Curtis Cameron, the Rev. Marion Dry and the Rev. Harry Girtman officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Born April 25, 1923, in Great Falls, Mrs. Tarlton was a daughter of the late William Albert Gibson and Fannie McWaters Gibson. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and was retired from J.P. Stevens, Co. A charter member of Trinity Baptist Church, she attended the Dorcas Sunday school class.
Surviving are her daughter, Pat Catoe and husband, Jim, of Columbia, S.C.; one grandson, Jeremy Catoe and wife, Linda, of Irmo, S.C.; and one great-granddaughter, Avery Catoe of Irmo, S.C.
