ROCK HILL -- Tommy James Mitchell, 56, of 961 Steele Street, has passed away.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2008, at China Grove AME Zion Church on 4659 Mount Gallant Road in Rock Hill with the Rev. J. Martin Bouler officiating. Burial will be at China Grove AME Zion Church.
The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, Eula Mae Truesdale, 828 Green Street in Rock Hill.
A native of Rock Hill, Tommy was a self-employed concrete worker. His main hobbies were fishing, singing and playing his harmonica. Tommy is the son of Eula and Charles Truesdale of Rock Hill. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Hemphill of Charlotte, N.C.

Tommy leaves to cherish his fond memories one son, Angilo Robinson of Charlotte; one daughter, Ruth Ann Jimmerson of Charleston, S.C.; sisters, Linda Mitchell Hardin Feaster of Rock Hill and Jessie Brown of White Plains, N.Y.; and 2 grandchildren.
