Glenn Moses

CLOVER -- Charles Glenn Moses, 83, of 115 S. Grandview Road, died August 9, 2008, at his home.

The funeral service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2008, at Crowders Creek A.R.P. Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home in Clover, S.C.

Mr. Moses was born June 4, 1925, in Gastonia, N.C., to the late James Otto Moses and Nina Lingerfelt Moses. He was the widower of Barbara "Bobbie" McCarter Moses. Mr. Moses was retired from Coca Cola, was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Navy and was an active member of Crowders Creek A.R.P. Church. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Miller.

Surviving are his daughters and their husbands, Nancy M. and James Holcombe of Anderson, S.C., Mary M. and Tom Miller of Clover and Ann M. and Scott Hines of Clover; two sons and their wives, Michael and Barbara S. Moses of Clover and Kenneth and Nell J. Moses of York, S.C.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Kathryn Kelly of Clover.
