Timothy Scoggins

GREAT FALLS -- Mr. Timothy Brakefield Scoggins of 3134 Knucklehead Drive died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008. He was 50.

A memorial Celebration of Life service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at Mount Dearborn United Methodist Church in Great Falls, with the Rev. Scott Smoak, the Rev. Jason Everson, the Rev. Jerry Barrineau and the Rev. Weldon Sellers officiating.

Mr. Scoggins was born Jan. 2, 1958, in Vermont, a son of Robert and Nancy Brakefield Scoggins. He was a graduate of York High School and was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Scoggins was employed as an electrician and maintenance technician with Holopack Pharmaceuticals. He was a member of Antique Motorcycle Club of America.

Survivors include his wife, Rene' Horton Scoggins; a daughter, Paige Scoggins of the home; one brother, Michael Scoggins of McConnells, S.C.; two sisters, Barbara McDougald of Richburg and Margaret Lynn Scoggins of Rock Hill; and his parents, Robert and Nancy Scoggins of McConnells; his mother and father-in-law, L.J. and Louise Horton of Great Falls; and two nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by a son, John Tyler Scoggins and a brother, John Robert Scoggins.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Mount Dearborn Church.
