ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Beulah "Bea" Anderson, 80, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 15, 2008.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2008, at Westminster Towers. A second memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2008, at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Kansas City.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by a daughter, Julie Viveros, son-in-law, Jose' and grandson, Josef, of Tega Cay, S.C.; and by a son, Wade Anderson, daughter-in-law, Mary, and granddaughters, Sarah, Emily and Rachel of Leawood, Kan. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Harold "Andy" Anderson and by a son, Marc Anderson of Overland Park, Kan.
Bea was born Beulah Blair in 1927, in Volga, S.D. She received dual Bachelor's degrees in Business and Education from the University of South Dakota in 1949. While attending college, she met her future husband "Andy" Anderson. They married in 1949. The couple's first son, Wade, was born in 1951. A second son, Marc, arrived in 1953. For the next several years, the family moved extensively throughout the Midwest, settling in the Kansas City area in 1963. Daughter, Julie, was born the same year.

Mrs. Anderson was an active member of her church, serving as organist for several years. She delighted in her grandchildren. She took great joy in music and she loved to talk to anyone about anything. Her family and friends will miss hearing her play the piano; they will miss her companionship; and they will simply miss her.
