ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Monteen Millwood Cook, 78, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2008, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October, 21, 2008, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, with Dr. Tom Patterson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
A native of Mount Airey, Ga., Mrs. Cook was a daughter of the late Oree W. Millwood and the late Emmie Dill Millwood. She was a member of Woodhaven Baptist Church and a retiree of the Celanese Corporation with 44 years of service. She was the widow of Marvin "Bob" Cook and was preceded in death by her son, Robert Wayne Cook Sr.
She is survived by her sons, Douglas B. Cook and wife, Maxine, of Gastonia, N.C. and Robert Wayne Cook Jr. and wife, Nikki, of Rock Hill; grandson, Mckenzie Cook and granddaughter, Allison Cook, both of Gastonia; and three great-grandchildren, Ryan Cook, Grace Cook and Hannah Cook, of Rock Hill.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road in Rock Hill.
