CATAWBA -- Frances C. Kitchen, 70, of 4044 Roddey Road, passed away Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.
A native of Fort Mill, Mrs. Kitchen was born April 30, 1938, a daughter of the late Charles and Avalona Giles Cunnup. She was retired from Celanese and was a member of Roddey Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Floyd "Sonny" Kitchen; children, Mitch Eades of Rock Hill, Mandy Owens of Mount Holly, N.C., and Russell Eades of Catawba; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Ed Cunnup of Fort Mill; and a sister, Doris Holland of Fort Mill.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Kitchen will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Roddey Baptist Church, 2678 S. Anderson Road, Catawba, with Pastor Ronnie Helms and Pastor Bill Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.
