RICHBURG -- Mr. Charles Paul Braese, 78, of 553 Kees Drive, Richburg died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at Hospice & Community Care in Rock Hill, S.C.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with Father William Pentis officiating. Interment will be private.
Born Aug. 25, 1930, in Ludlow, Mass., Mr. Braese was the son of the late Thomas Charles and Evelyn McCarthy Braese. He was a graduate of Hasbrouck Heights High School in Hasbrouck Heights, N.J., and retired from the City of Rock Hill as Street Superintendent. He was a U.S. Navy veteran during the Korean War and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He was the widower of Bettie Braese.
Surviving are one son, Paul E. Braese of Weaverville, N.C.; three daughters, Karen B. Kee of Richburg, S.C., Cheryl B. Kitchen of Indian Land, S.C., and Lisa B. Faris of Richburg, S.C.; six grandchildren, Ricky Kovacs, Chris Kee, Petty Officer 3rd Class Matthew Kitchen USCG, Hunter Kitchen, Amanda Faris and Joshua Faris.
