ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Carrie Mae Harrison Lowery, 86, passed away Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, at her home.
The funeral service will be 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 8, at Second Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bob Porterfield officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery.
A native of Pocahonis, Va., Mrs. Lowery was a daughter of the late George Harrison and the late Della Mae Michaels Harrison. She was retired from Leisure Lodge Nursing Home in Arkansas and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Rock Hill. She was the widow of James Franklin Lowery.
Surviving are her sons, Jimmy Lowery, Robert Lowery and Billy Lowery, all of Rock Hill, Eddie Lowery and Tim Lowery, both of Mooresville, N.C., and Mike Lowery of Bakersfield, Ca.; her daughters, Debra Bailey and Judy Lowery, both of Rock Hill and Elaine Reavis of York, S.C.; her sister, Betty Harrison of Mount Clemmens, Mich.; sixteen grandchildren; and thirty great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 7, at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, 355 E. White St, Rock Hill.
