JACKSONVILLE, Tenn. -- Mrs. Nannie Mae Whisenant Douglas, 90, formerly of Clover, S.C., died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, at home.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., with the Rev. Dave Stanford and the Rev. Alan Morrow officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Douglas was born April 7, 1918 in York County, S.C., to the late Avery Deal and Ida Pressley Horton Whisenant. She was the widow of John Grady Douglas.
Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, LouEllen Douglas and Leslie Stewart of Clover; grandsons, Dr. Leslie Stewart of Jackson, Tenn., and Kevin Stewart of Clover; brothers, A. D. Whisenant Jr. and Richard Whisenant, both of Clover; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home.
