FORT MILL -- Mrs. Alice (Inez) Riley Miller, 88, of 1532 Legion Road, died Friday, December 19, 2008, at White Oak Manor - York.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 22, 2008, at St. John's United Methodist Church (Fort Mill) with the Rev. John Warren officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
A native of Camden, S.C., Mrs. Miller was a daughter of the late Ernest and Lillie McGugan Miller. She was an active and committed member of St. John's United Methodist Church. She also retired from Springs Industries and was a member of the Eastern Star. She was the widow of William A. (Bill) Miller.
Surviving are her son, William (Buck) Miller and his wife, Mary, of Hemmingway, S.C.; three daughters, Jane Pettus and her husband, Joe, Margaret Messer and her husband, Jim, and Linda Rodgers, all of Fort Mill; two brothers, Lewis Riley and his wife, Jean, of Fort Myers, Fla., and Lloyd Riley and his wife, Pat, of Fort Mill; ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth (Beth) Messer.
