MCCONNELLS -- Margaret Lambeth Hoyt, 85, of McConnells, S.C., died Friday, December 19, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. today at Olivet Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. John McArthur officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of McConnells, S.C., Margaret was a daughter of the late Auburn C. and Frances Hamilton Lambeth. She was the widow of the Rev. Samuel Brown Hoyt Jr. She was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church, Sunday School teacher, member of the choir and worked with the youth of the church. She was also a Director of Christian Education.
She is survived by two daughters, Fran H. Williams of Matthews, N.C., and Jenny H. Bach of Latta, S.C.; one son, Samuel B. Hoyt III of St. Louis, Mo.; one brother, Auburn Lambeth of Jackson, Miss.; and one sister, Lynda Milton of Greenwood, S.C. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Hoyt.

Visitation will be held at Olivet Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall today following the service.
