YORK -- Mr. Lee James Lail, 92, passed away Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at his home.
Mr. Lail was born on July 24, 1916, in Connelly Springs, N.C., to the late Roby and Lou Duncan Lail. He was retired from Springs Industries.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Naomi Lane Lail and his youngest son, Randy Robert Lail.
Mr. Lail is survived by his daughter, Janice Lail Trull and husband, James, of Chester; three sons, Earl Lee Lail and wife, Anna, of York, Reece Edward Lail of York and Boyd Joe Lail and wife, Ruth, of Lancaster; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Also surviving are two brothers, Artis Lail and wife, Francis, of Taylorsville, N.C., and Carlon Lail and wife, Willie Fay, of Connelly Springs as well as two sisters, Elsie Mae Lail Lane of Hickory, N.C., and Faye Dean Lail of Newton, N.C.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 250 West Alexander Love Highway, York, S.C., with Brother Nathaniel Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to The Kingdom Hall Building Fund, 250 West Alexander Love Highway, York, SC 29745.
