ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Martha Bratcher Yarborough, 60, died peacefully in her sleep on Dec. 24, 2008.
Born in Florence, S.C., to Egbert and Vivian Bratcher, she is survived by Culla L. Yarborough, her husband of 40 years; her sons, Joel Lee Yarborough, Lt. Col. Culla Lance Yarborough (USAF); stepdaughter, Renee Robins; her brother, Michael Bratcher of Omaha, Neb.; six grandchildren; and multiple nieces and nephews.
Martha was a registered nurse at York General Hospital, Piedmont Medical Center, then with S.C. DHEC as a home health nurse, where she retired in 2002.
A memorial service will be held on Dec. 26 at 6 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill, S.C., where she was a member, had served as an elder and was a member of the Women's Circle. Following the ceremony, a Celebration of Life will be held in the fellowship hall.
