FORT MILL -- Mrs. Margie Corley Walters, 78, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at Lighthouse Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Carl Williams officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road in Rock Hill.
Born in Greenwood County, S.C., Mrs. Walters was a daughter of the late George Lester Corley and Maggie Lula Baker Corley. She was a homemaker and was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mrs. Walters enjoyed playing Putt-Putt and was a past national champion.
Surviving are her husband, Billy Ray Walters; two sons, Scott Walters and his wife, Amy, of Fort Mill and Steve Walters and his wife, Debbie, of Monroe; her daughter, Tammie Ussery and her husband, Alex, of Fort Mill; two brothers, George Paul Corley and Richard Carroll Corley, both of Prosperity; her sister, Louise C. Frick of Newberry; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Walters.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at Wolfe Funeral Home and other times at the home.
