John “Fireball” Keziah

Mr. John Frankie “Fireball” Keziah, 61, of 24 Walnut Street, died Friday, August 28, 2009, at his residence.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Monday at Great Falls Church of God, with the Revs. James Freeman and Johnny Heffner officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Born August 24, 1948, in Lancaster, S.C., Mr. Keziah was the son of Gussie Taylor Keziah of Great Falls and the late Fred Keziah. He was a graduate of Lancaster County Schools and retired from Spring Industries and was also a carpenter. He was a member of Great Falls Church of God. He was an avid NASCAR fan, loved sports, hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Jane E. Keziah of Oakgrove, Ky.; mother, Gussie T. Keziah of Great Falls, S.C.; three daughters, Teresa Jarzyna and her husband, Daniel, and Jenny Crouch and her husband, Bobby, all of Blackstock, S.C., and Michelle Helms and her husband, Ken, of Lancaster, S.C.; four grandchildren, Justin McManus, Olin Crouch III, Kenny Dutton and Mallory Helms; one brother, Danny Keziah and his wife, Darlene, of Lancaster, S.C.; special companion, Amanda Morrison; and special nephew, Justin Ray “Sidekick” Keziah. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Keziah and a brother, Ervin Keziah.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Avenue in Great Falls.
