Mrs. Sara Louise Howe Plyler, 73, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2009, at her home.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel. Burial will be in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Cemetery.
A native of Rock Hill, Mrs. Plyler was the daughter of the late Roy C. and Ophelia Thomas Howe. She was a homemaker who loved to work with ceramics. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Catawba Seniors. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Roy Howe Jr., Glenn Howe, Lewis Howe and Robert Howe.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Roy L. Plyler; her sons, Michael Plyler (Peggy) of Six Mile, S.C., Lynn Plyler (Gloria) and Phillip Plyler (Cindy), all of Rock Hill; her daughter, Cindy George (Wayne) of Rock Hill; her brothers, Wayne, Marion and Johnny Howe; her sisters, Margaret and Marlene; her grandchildren, Patti, Larry, Angie, Mandy, Nikki, Chad, Bryan, Dakota, Zack, Kassidy and Jodie; her great-grandchildren, Bobby, Kristyn, Kylie, Chloe, Adrian, Alyssa, Rain, Courtney, Damion, Gracie, Kaitie, Dylan, Kaley, Kaitlyn, Kevin and Lindsey; and her great-great grandchildren, Kris and Madeline.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2009, at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, 355 E. White Street.
