You may recall my story earlier this week about local car dealer David McKinney being among those trying to build support in Congress for legislation to stop GM and Chrysler from cutting hundreds of dealerships as part of their restructuring.
McKinney called me today to point out hometownautodealers.org, the Web site of the Committee to Restore Dealer Rights, which, according to the site, "represents many of America's hometown automobile dealerships recently – or soon to be – terminated by GM or the pre-merger Chrysler."
The site is an aggregator of all the coverage this proposal has gotten and has links to recent news stories and other pertinent information.
If you've been following the issue, you should find the site useful.
