Since it's the first time we've seen John Fox since Michael Vick was conditionally reinstated, we were obliged to ask if the former Falcons QB was welcome here.
And Fox, in midseason form already, had this to say:

"I think we're always having an interest in anybody who makes us better," he said. "I don't know, right now we're pretty set at quarterback, we like the guys we have, and I wouldn't want to rule in or rule out anything.
"I tell you guys that all the time. We're always looking to upgrade. At this point, we feel comfortable where we are."
Before anyone has a conniption, don't think this means the Panthers are interested in Vick. They're not.
It's just that Fox has a pathological distaste for straight answers (he falls out of the bed obfuscating), so even the simplest of queries is going to get a roundabout answer which reveals nothing.
I think tomorrow, I'll ask him what he had for breakfast.
"Well, there's a lot of good choices there, and we like all of them," Fox might said. "We're always looking to eat. You've got your oatmeal and your bacon and eggs and sometimes pancakes too. We'd hate to rule any of them in or out, when there are so many which could help us get to lunch."
-- He also said everyone passed their physical, and the team should be at full strength tomorrow.
They cut TE Kevin Brock to get to the 80-man roster limit.
