Thanks to modern technology and the on-the-spot videography and twittering by Mr. Twitter himself, WSOC-TV sports guy Bill Voth (@billvoth), we have a real treat for you.
Panthers wide receiver Kenny Moore had a karaoke-style fund-raiser tonight (Tuesday) in uptown Charlotte to raise money for some local charities. Running backs DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart were there -- and got in on the action.
Stewart, as you may know, is quite a musician. He plays the piano and has a growing career in the recording industry. Williams? Well, let's just say he has fun and tries really hard.
From tonight's event, via Voth's twitter, here's a look at Williams singing "I Believe I Can Fly" -- solo <http://bit.ly/bWiQ2E> . Not exactly R. Kelly, but his heart was in it.
And here's the Double Trouble combo together after Stewart joins Williams <http://bit.ly/9ANO5j> and, well, helps out his good friend.
It's worth mentiioning that the previous afternoon (Monday), Williams and Stewart went fishing together on Lake Norman. Stewart said Williams caught the biggest fish. Well, tonight, it was Stewart who threw Williams a life-raft!
Congratulations to both of them and to Moore for being so fun-loving and for caring enough to support a great cause.
BONUS COVERAGE: News 14's Mike Solarte <http://bit.ly/aEyAo3> got in on the action too!
